TRAVEL DIARY: ORLANDO | UNIVERSAL STUDIOS & ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE

It has been so hard for me to go through so many photographs and memories from my latest trip to Orlando. I tried to compose everything in just one post but it was impossible as I have so much to share with you and travel diaries are by far my favorite to post because I feel you get to experience it with me. Apart from going to Disneyworld (post here), I also emerged into one more day of fun in Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure and jam packed it all in just one day. Believe me, my feet and back were killing me but nothing compared to my stomach ache from laughing so hard all day. Instead of going through every itty bitty detail with you, I'm leaving you with my favorite moments caught on camera and of course with a few pointers which will help you out next time you visit Orlando!

* Orlando is so much more than just Disneyworld- Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are two MUST-GO destinations as well. If you have limited time in Orlando like I did, purchase the two parks in one day. Do Universal Studios in the morning and Islands of Adventure after lunch. Both have equally as exciting rides.

* The park to park ticket gives you the pass to travel between the parks back and forth in the Hogwart's Express! Harry Potter fans, you will love this.

* Apart from your admissions tickets, if you get the Express passes, you skip the regular line which is great if you go at a peak season- lets say summer, thanksgiving or the holidays.

* Harry Potter world is INSANE. There's a part on Universal Studios and a part on Islands of Adventure. Both are equally fantastic and I'm not the greatest Harry Potter fan, just imagine if you are.

* In these parks you will find more thrill rides- faster ones, crazier ones, scarier ones. I am not very brave person so I skipped on some of them, but my boyfriend rode in almost all. If you're looking for the thrill, these parks are great.

* Favorite rides in Universal Studios: Harry Potter Escape from the Gringotts, the classic ET Adventure ride, Revenge of the Mummy (it's fast and scary, i cried), The Simpson Ride (super fun), and according to my boyfriend Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket is great. It was just too fast for me to handle.

* Favorite rides in Islands of Adventure: Skull Island Reign of Kong (this was an incredible experience, visually so outstanding), Spider Man (even though it needs a bit of a revamp, it's still fun), Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls and everyone's favorite (not mine for obvious reasons) is The Incredible Hulk Coaster.

Ha sido tan dificil para mi poder seleccionar entre tantas fotografías de tantos momentos que viví en mi pasado viaje a Orlando. Traté de compaginar todo en un solo post pero fué imposible ya que tengo tanto para mostrarles y en si, los posts de viajes son mis favoritos de hacer porque siento que estan viviendo estas experiencias junto conmigo. Aparte de haber ido a Disneyworld (lo pueden ver aqui), tambien tuve la oportunidad de visitar Universal Studios y Islands of Adventure que son dos parques de diversion increíbles! Opté por hacer los dos en el mismo dia porque están lado a lado y a pesar de que me dolían las piernas y la espalda, mas me dolía la barriga de tanto reir todo el dia. En vez de ir paso por paso a traves de mi travesía por Universal Studios, los dejaré con mis momentos favoritos capturados en cámara y algunos consejos para su proximo viaje a Orlando, sea cuando sea que lo tomen!

* Orlando es mucho más que DisneyWorld- ir a los parques de Universal Studios y Islands of Adventure es obligatorio! Si tienes tiempo limitado como lo tuve yo, trata de ir a los dos parques el mismo dia. Universal Studios durante la mañana y Islands of Adventure despues de almuerzo- los dos son igualmente divertidos.

* El ticket "Parque a Parque" te permite ir a ambos cuantas veces quieras y lo mejor de todo es que lo haces en el Hogwart's Express o el tren de Harry Potter. Para los que son fanaticos de HP, esto les encantará!

* Aparte de los tickets de ingreso, si puedes, compra los pases Express. Estos pases te hacen cortar la linea regular y entrar por una linea super rapida a todos los juegos. Este pase es particularmente beneficioso cuando estas en temporada alta- verano, acción de gracias o las fiestas, cuando las filas de espera son interminables!

* El mundo de Harry Potter dentro de los dos parques es INCREIBLE! Y se los digo yo, que no soy una gran fan de Harry Potter para comenzar. Si lo sos, enloquecerás ya que es realmente fuera de serie.

* A diferencia de Disney, en estos parques encontrarás mas acción- juegos mas rápidos y mas locos, de aquellos que te dan miedo! Yo por decir, soy super miedosa, por ende no logre subir a todos! :) Si estas buscando más diversión en ese tema, estos parques son ideales para ti.

* Atracciones favoritas de Universal Studios: Harry Potter Escape from the Gringotts, el clásico ET Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy (es rapido, y fuerte y si, lloré), The Simpson Ride (super divertido) y según mi novio, Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket es buenísimo- simplemente era una mini montaña rusa muy fuerte para mi.

* Atracciones favoritas de Islands of Adventure: Skull Island Reign of Kong (visualmente superior a cualquier otra atracción, de mis favoritos), Spider Man (a pesar de que necesita una actualización, muy divertido), Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls y el favorito de todos (no el mío por razones obvias) es la montaña rusa del Increíble Hulk .
